Yes - there are so many similarities between what we do - yet look at the different materials we play with.
I have occasionally taken a Riverstones bead further and added more layers of glass, but the way that moves the "stones" around drives me crazy sometimes...crazy huh? I need to plan carefully right from the time I begin to lay down the first glass, and yesterday I was in a more "organic" mood!Lesleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05099673748592697178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1622429172824216543.post-75537445875092475952010-07-14T06:46:39.634-07:002010-07-14T06:46:39.634-07:00Ohh, Lesley! You have me crazy now to see these ink blue beads and this NEW larger project you are working on...what is that all about?

I really love these beads. The little bubbles along the edge of "Flow" are fabulous. I love how those just compliment the gradation of color. The "Riverstones" is really detailed, yet so simple. It is a challenge to explain how this happens with this design. I think it is the attention to the detail which comes across and the resistance, on your part, to take it too far which is so appealing. Does that make sense to you?

Oh, I can't wait to see what you are up to and what comes out of the kiln today!

Thanks, Dear Lesley!Andrea and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337904921232330088noreply@blogger.com
